FREE Coffee Talks

Networking and chatting with peers is a great way to expand your knowledgebase.    Unfortunately, we do not always have the time to go to a specific event.

SageCircle’s free Coffee Talks are our way to facilitate the development of the AR profession. A strategist or guest speaker will take a few minutes to set up the topic and then it’s open discussion

You supply the coffee, we will facilitate the talk.

Each Coffee Talk is 30-45 minutes long and we encourage questions.
All times are Pacific time zone.

August 2010 - How to Get Stakeholder Buy-In for Changing Analyst List Priorities - Replay available

So you have reviewed your analyst lists and found a need to change your focus.  Some new analysts are more relevant and influential.  Some long-time analysts have dropped to tier two status.  The analyst who went to college with your CIO is no longer relevant.  How do you get your executives re-focused on the key analysts?  How do you convince them to work with new and unfamiliar analysts?  Join us for a discussion of the problems and possible solutions to these issues.

September 2010 - AR's Priot Planning Prevents Poor Performance in a Crisis

At any minute any analyst relations (AR) team can get a call about a crisis at their company that will throw all their plans for the day and to-do lists out the window. How well prepared the AR team is will determine how effective their response will be. This is especially true when the crisis requires hyper fast outreach and response because there will no time to “invent the wheel,” which means that critical steps can fall between the cracks if there is not an established process in place.

In the September AR Coffee Talk we will be discussing the key elements to effective crisis AR. While “prior planning” is the theme of this discussion, it is not just planning that counts when a crisis hits, but the response also builds on team culture and active executive sponsor support.

We will be encouraging your participation in the discussion. What has worked for you in the past? What painful lessons have you learned from situations that did not work out so well? Of course we will be taking your questions about how these ideas can be applied to your situation.
